“Doogal” does not warrant a theatrical release. Moreover, it doesn’t even deserve a direct-to-DVD release. There will be no theme parks based on the new computer-animated flick nor will kids cry out for tie-in merchandise like plush dolls or clothing.
“Doogal” belongs on Saturday morning television.
